Basic Settings

After installation, find the "WordOllama" tab in the Word or WPS toolbar, click "Settings" to open the configuration interface.

Overview

The configuration interface is organized into multiple tabs, each managing different configuration items. The "Basic Settings" page is shown by default.

Basic Settings Options

  • AI Provider: Choose Ollama or an OpenAI-compatible API; a compatible API can be hosted locally or provided online
  • API Address: Enter the AI service Base URL
  • API Key: Enter one when the backend requires it; some local backends do not validate keys
  • Model: Enter or select an exact model ID exposed by the backend

Saving Configuration

  • All configuration changes are saved automatically
  • Configuration is stored locally and never uploaded to the cloud
  • Some settings may require restarting Word/WPS to take effect
